Motorcycle rallies are fun to go to all year long. Whether traveling to a rally by yourself or with friends, rallies offer a time to meet up with other riders, look at a variety of bikes and shop different vendors. Most motorcycle get togethers also have bands, leather apparel and accessories for motorcycles. Some of these events are just for the weekend where some may last all week. There are so many fun bike fests that it is really hard to name just a few.
Bikers Who Care Leslie W. Watson Memorial Toy Run and Benefit Party
This fall motorcycle rally is held annually in in Clarksville, Tennessee. Bikers who attend this much anticipated weekend will find that there is a lot to see and do. In addition to the memorial toy run, there is live music, custom bikes, burn out shows and a tattoo contest. Guests can also purchase biker t-shirts, jackets, stickers and a multitude of bike related accessories. There is also a huge fireworks show. Proceeds from this event go to different children charities and Camp Rainbow. Bikers who come to this rally usually stay at the campground to get the most of the weekend although there are local nearby hotels. The Bikers Who Care 30th Annual Leslie W. Watson Memorial Toy Run and Benefit Party will take place September 16th - September 18th, 2011.
Thunder Beach Autumn Rally
During the fall and spring, Panama City Beach, Florida welcomes riders from all over to the Thunder Beach Motorcycle Rally. This event, which started in 1999, has turned into a big attraction that offers riders a chance to visit different facilities that include restaurants, hotels and vendors. Other options include visiting the beach, listening to bands, taking a bike ride along the coast, and, of course, shopping some of the many vendors that work at the rally. The Thunder Beach Autumn Rally will be held September 28th - October 2nd, 2011.
Myrtle Beach Bike Week Fall Rally
This South Carolina bike rally will have music, entertainment, a poker run and other things to do for riders. The weather at Myrtle Beach is usually still warm and breezy in the fall and riders can tour the scenic coastline. There are also numerous places to stay in Myrtle Beach and along the Grand Strand making it a convenient location for bikers. Local campgrounds may also have campsites available. The Myrtle Beach Fall Rally is scheduled to take place September 28th - October 2nd, 2011.
Las Vegas Bike Fest
An annual fall bike rally that also makes an amazing vacation trip is the Las Vegas Bike Fest held in Las Vegas, Nevada. This huge event has an opening party, exhibitions, and different contests just to name a few of the things going on. There are tons of vendors, concerts and other shows. Then there is also Las Vegas which in itself is enough to make the trip worthwhile. Bikers who are planning to attend this event need to be ready to party from September 29th - October 2nd, 2011.
A good rule to remember when attending these rallies or any other motorcycle rally is that lodging near the event tends to fill up fast. Some bike rallies also require bikers to purchase tickets in advance to poker runs or special events where a head count is needed.
